Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Einblik, operated by Vantino SARL, Case postale 2933, 1211 Genève 2, Switzerland (“Einblik”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Einblik on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

1. The service

Einblik lets you create short links on the shared eb.lk domain or your own custom domain, view click analytics, and manage links with your team. We may change, add or remove features over time; we will not materially reduce a paid plan’s core features during a paid period without reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use Einblik. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for your team members’ use of any organization you manage.

3. Acceptable use

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no malware, phishing, spam, illegal content, or deceptive or infringing destinations, and no attempts to disrupt or abuse the service. We scan link destinations against known threat lists and may disable links or suspend accounts that violate the policy or the law. To report a link, see Report abuse.

4. Plans, billing & cancellation

  • Free plans are provided as-is at no charge and may have usage limits.
  • Paid (Team) plans are billed in advance and renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal and will keep access through the period you have already paid for.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods or unused features.
  • Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes (e.g. VAT), which you are responsible for. We may change prices on renewal with reasonable notice.
  • Promotional or “founding” pricing, where offered, applies for as long as your subscription remains continuously active; standard pricing applies to new subscriptions started afterwards.

5. Your content & licence

You retain all rights to the destination URLs, titles, tags and other content you provide (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the redirect and analytics service and as you direct. You represent that you have the rights to your destinations and that they do not violate these Terms or the law.

6. Our intellectual property

Einblik, including the software, design and brand, is and remains our property. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

7. Third-party destinations

Short links point to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of destination sites, and following a link is at your and your visitors’ own risk.

8. Privacy & data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where we process click analytics on your behalf as your processor, that processing is also subject to a Data Processing Agreement available to Team customers on request.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability and design the redirect path to keep working even during maintenance; redirects for existing links continue to function regardless of plan status. We do not offer a formal uptime SLA on Free plans. Live status is published at status.einblik.com.

10. Suspension & termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users — where practical, with notice and a chance to cure. On termination your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. content licence limits, IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or CHF 100 if you are on a Free plan). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your destinations, or your breach of these Terms or the law, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we will change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify account holders. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Geneva, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection venue.

16. General

If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These Terms and the documents they reference are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
